Artificial Intelligence (AI), Best Practices, CompTIA - Computing Technology Industry Association, Industry Standards, Legal, Problem Solving Skills
The Department of Interdisciplinary Studies is pleased to announce a new 12-credit online Applied Artificial Intelligence Concentration. This program offers a practical, non-technical approach that equips students to leverage AI as a tool in any field of study. The following courses will be available in consecutive 8-week online sessions starting this fall:
- IDAI-200 - AI Fundamentals: Provides a clear, non-technical understanding of AI capabilities and best practices. Successful completers will receive an industry-standard CompTIA certification.
- IDAI-250 - Ethical Problems and Issues in AI: Investigates the moral, legal, and social implications of AI systems and develops a biblical and ethical framework for using AI well.
- IDAI-300 - Practical AI Applications: Offers hands-on experience using emerging AI tools to automate workflows and solve practical problems.
- IDAI-380 -The AI-Enhanced Professional: Focuses on long-term career positioning and organizational AI implementation.
