About the Role:
Join RESTORE ABA & SPEECH THERAPY LLC as an ABAT Trainee and embark on a rewarding journey in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis. This entry-level position offers hands-on experience while working with children to improve their communication and behavioral skills in a supportive environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in implementing individualized treatment plans for clients under the supervision of a certified ABA therapist.
- Observe and record client behavior data to track progress and inform treatment adjustments.
- Engage clients in therapeutic activities to promote skill development and social interaction.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members to foster a collaborative environment.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance knowledge of ABA principles.
- Maintain a clean and organized therapy space to ensure a safe and conducive learning environment.
- Adhere to ethical guidelines and confidentiality standards in all interactions.
- Support the overall mission of the clinic by promoting a positive and inclusive atmosphere.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; college coursework in psychology or related field preferred.
- Passion for working with children and a desire to learn about Applied Behavior Analysis.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Reliable, responsible, and committed to professional development.
- Previous experience in a therapeutic or educational setting is a plus.
- Must be able to pass background checks and obtain necessary certifications as required.
- Available to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
