Instruction & engagement: Deliver clear, inclusive lessons that translate complex theory into practical know-how.

Mentorship: Provide individualized feedback, foster critical thinking, and nurture problem-solvers.
Safety leadership: Reinforce industry-standard safety protocols at every step.
What You’ll Need to Succeed
Minimum education: High school diploma or GED
Required experience: 5 years of practical work experience in the field (teaching experience does not count toward the 5 years). Journeyman/Licensed Technician, NCCER Certified Instructor, or an associate/bachelor’s in a related field is a plus.
Technical scope: Power distribution, branch circuit wiring, conduit bending, lighting layouts, service panel upgrades, load calculations, and troubleshooting for single-phase and multi-phase commercial setups.
Soft skills: Strong communication, patience, and empathy to support learners at varied skill levels.
