Careerscape is recruiting on behalf of our client for an entry-level, fully remote Appointment Setter to join their growing sales team. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong communication skills and a positive attitude to break into a sales career, working the front end of the pipeline by connecting with prospects and scheduling qualified meetings for the sales team to close.
Day to day, you will spend most of your time on the phone and in email or chat, reaching out to warm and cold leads, asking the right questions to gauge interest, and booking appointments on behalf of account executives. People who thrive in this role are naturally chatty, resilient in the face of rejection, organized with their calendar and CRM, and motivated by hitting daily and weekly activity goals from the comfort of their own home office.
Responsibilities
Make outbound calls and send emails or messages to prospective customers from provided lead lists
Qualify leads by asking discovery questions about needs, budget, and timeline
Schedule qualified appointments for account executives and sales representatives
Accurately log all call notes, outcomes, and lead details in the CRM
Follow up consistently with warm leads who have not yet booked a meeting
Meet or exceed daily call volume and weekly appointment-setting quotas
Coordinate calendars between prospects and the sales team to confirm meeting times
Handle basic objections and route more complex questions to senior sales staff
Maintain a positive, professional tone across phone, email, and chat interactions
Participate in daily team huddles and ongoing sales training sessions
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent required
No prior sales experience necessary, though any customer service or phone experience is a plus
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Comfortable making a high volume of outbound calls each day
Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn CRM and scheduling software
Reliable high-speed internet connection and a quiet home workspace
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a remote setting
Positive, resilient attitude when handling rejection or objections
