Apprentice Coordinator
DAS: Facilities Management Division
Hourly Range: $32.01 - $48.01
Role Summary: Under the general direction of the Division Director, the Apprentice Coordinator is responsible for developing and overseeing trade and technical profession on-the-job training and career development programs in the Facilities Management Division (FMD). Collaborate with FMD leadership on identifying skill gaps and creating action plans to acquire the necessary staff knowledge and experience. Research and develop standards and requirements for successful completion of Trades apprenticeship programs, Youth Apprentice Programs, and other advancement processes. Develop and sustain partnerships with local educational institutions and technical skills training agencies. Responsible for managing and tracking employee progress in training program and regularly reporting status to FMD leadership. Engage employees and coach for successful completion of development plans. Coordinate and facilitate training programs, workshops, and seminars to enhance employees' skills and knowledge. Stay informed about industry trends, emerging relevant job roles, and advancements in fields relevant to facilities management. Evaluate and report the effectiveness of program and collaborate with FMD leadership to adjust strategies as needed.
