Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, construction experience, or prior electrical training.
Key skills involve safety adherence, following instructions, basic math and reading skills, strong attention to detail, punctuality, and effective communication.
Responsibilities include installing wiring, conduits, panels, testing circuits, and maintaining a clean work environment, with physical labor involved.
Preferred qualifications include coursework in math, electronics, or mechanical drawing, OSHA-10, forklift, and scissor lift certifications.
Candidates must pass electrical theory and code exams to obtain a Journeyman license, have a valid driver’s license, and transportation.
