Lone Star Bakery, Inc. is looking for an Apprentice Electrician to days ensure all aspects of electrical processes are properly executed as instructed by the Master Electrician.
Day Shift: 7am to 3:30pm
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Installs all types of conduit.
- Sizes and pulls wire.
- Uses multi-meter for testing and troubleshooting electrical problems.
- Reads and understands electrical wiring diagrams.
- Installs low and high voltage distribution panels as well as control panels.
- PM electrical components and panels.
- Uses MP2 for work orders, PM, and parts location, usage and ordering.
- Notifies supervisor of any issues or equipment malfunctions.
Job Requirements, Education, & Certifications- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Must have general knowledge of equipment operations and MP2
- Must be able to size, bend and install EMT, IMC and ridged conduit per NEC
- Ability to use multi-meter to test AC/DC voltage, amperage and continuity
- Must have strong verbal communication skills.
- Must have ability to read and write English.
- Must be able to follow directions.
- Knowledge of GMPs and Lock-out / Tag-out procedures
- Adheres to Machine Guarding process.
- Ability to be on feet all day and perform walking, stooping, and bending functions as required.
- Ability to work at steady and continuous pace and to keep up with manufacturing production.
