Key Responsibilities and Skills
- Support licensed electricians in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment.
- Perform troubleshooting tasks to diagnose and resolve electrical issues with supervision.
- Ability to read blueprints, drawings and specifications.
- Assist with low voltage wiring installations and troubleshooting
- Operate hand tools, power tools and measuring equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
- Time Management and Prioritization
- Self‐Starter and “Can-Do” Attitude
- Positive Customer Service
Education and Qualifications
- Apprentice License or 2+ years in the commercial field
- Valid Driver’s License
- High school or equivalent
- OSHA 10 – Preferred
Physical Requirements
- Ability to walk, stand and bend for extended periods.
- Ability to communicate effectively with verbal, written, visual and listening skills.
- Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate any required equipment as well as to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and other technical instruments.
- Able to lift and carry heavy equipment, up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to pull cables.
- Ability to climb ladders and work on raised platforms.
Compensation and Benefits
- Compensation: $20 to $30 per hour
