Apprentice Plumber

ntermediate or Advanced - Service residential plumbing apprentice.  Intermediate helpers will be trained on basics and will be expected to pick up work habits quickly.   Intermediate and Advanced should expect to work with / for experienced plumbers to learn the trade and code for plumbing installations / repairs / service. Help in installing and repairs plumbing fixtures, water treatment, wells, water heaters, well tanks, septic systems, city water systems, etc.   Working with tools to learn different plumbing tools and equipment.  Apprentices / helpers will be required to carry out administrative duties such as including keeping work areas clean and cleaning up after job completion and gathering all tools and equipment from site.  Must be able to pass drug testing.  Driver license is not required (but is expected), all start their day in Mount Airy and end the day in Mount Airy.  Transportation to job specific sites is NOT required.   Candidates will be required to come in for an in person written application and interview.  

Salary/Compensation: $16.00 - $21.00 per hour
