What Youll Do
As an Apprentice Shop Painter, you will be responsible for:
Surface Preparation: Clean, sand, mask, and prime surfaces to ready them for painting
Painting Application: Operate spray guns or HVLP systems to apply paints, sealers, and clear coats in spray booths
Color Matching: Mix paints and coatings to match specific color requirements
Maintenance: Clean and maintain tools, spray guns, spray booth, filters, and ventilation systems
Quality Inspection: Check parts before and after painting for defects like runs or uneven spots
