What you'll be doing

As an Apprentice Vehicle Technician, you'll build practical skills while working alongside experienced technicians.

Your day-to-day tasks will include:

  • Carrying out vehicle servicing and safety checks
  • Assisting with MOT inspections and identifying wear and tear
  • Repairing and replacing engine and vehicle components
  • Using diagnostic tools to identify faults
  • Preparing vehicles for maintenance and ensuring they meet safety standards
  • Following health and safety procedures in a workshop environment

You'll gain experience working on a wide range of vehicles, developing both mechanical and problem-solving skills. By the end of your apprenticeship, you'll have the skills and confidence to work independently as a qualified technician.

  • A problem-solving mindset

Essential requirements:

  • Aged 16 or over
  • GCSE English and Maths (Grade 4/C or above), or willingness to achieve this
  • A full UK driving licence, or working towards it

Additional information

  • Undergo drug and alcohol testing in line with company policy
