We are currently offering an excellent opportunity to join our team as a Powertrain Maintenance Mechanic Apprentice at our Hagerstown, MD facility. Our program is in partnership with UAW Local 171 and the State of Maryland. Prior experience in this type of role is not required; we will support you as you develop your skills.
This is a fantastic opportunity to earn while you learn! The apprenticeship program gives you the opportunity to become a skilled Powertrain Maintenance Mechanic. Upon successful completion of the program, you will earn a UAW Journeyman card, opening the door to excellent career opportunities and long-term prospects.

REQUIREMENTS, EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND CERTIFICATIONS:
Must be at least 18 years old.
High school diploma or GED.
Successful completion of background check, physical, and drug screening requirements.
Successful completion of ACT WorkKeys testing as part of the selection process.
EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, AND KNOWLEDGE:
Strong verbal, written, and analytical skills.
Ability to understand and execute written and verbal instructions.
Basic math, reading, and mechanical reasoning skills.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The apprentice will work under the guidance of experienced maintenance personnel to develop the skills needed to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial equipment in a manufacturing environment.
