Your Impact (Outcomes‑Focused)

  • Standardized production: Create clear, complete procedures, work instructions, and documentation that ensure consistent quality and cost control.
  • Process excellence: Engineer and optimize processes and tooling for current production and new product launches.
  • Flawless launches: Lead APQP using the Project Launch Guide and Autocam Production System (APS) to achieve timely PPAP approvals.
  • Capex readiness: Provide technical support for capital equipment selection, planning, and implementation.
  • Cost confidence: Establish cost standards; quote new parts and maintain/update existing customer quotes.
  • Capability building: Train operators on machine operation, SPC, drawing/document interpretation, and continuous improvement.
  • Compliance built‑in: Apply GD&T rigor and uphold QMS and EMS requirements.

What You Need to Succeed

  • BS in Engineering or equivalent technical training with 2+ years of experience.
  • Strong problem solver with a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Proficiency in technical documentation, cost estimating, and manufacturing software systems.
  • Comfort reading complex technical documents; effective communicator across all levels.
  • Experience with APQP, GD&T, and lean principles.

Toolbox & Technologies

  • Methods: SPC, PFMEA, APQP, PPAP, Root Cause Analysis
  • Disciplines: Industrial & Manufacturing Engineering, Process Engineering
  • Equipment: CNC Lathe (2–4 axis: Mazak, Haas), CNC Swiss (Citizen, Tornos), CNC Lathe (5+ axis: Mazak, Index, Miyano)

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

  • Flexible schedule averaging ~50 hours/week.
  • Split between office and manufacturing floor; exposure to noise and oil.
  • Lift up to 30 lbs; close and distance vision.
