    Description:

    Neonatal Nurse Practitioner

    • This position will work 30 hours a week.

    Position Purpose:

    The Neonatal Nurse Practitioner provides primary or acute healthcare services for certain acute or chronic health conditions in specific populations in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice and with the policies, values, and mission of the organization.

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Education: Graduate from school of nursing; Preferred Master's Degree; Graduate of a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner Program.
    • Licensure / Certification: Current licensure to practice as a registered nurse in the State of Ohio; Holds Certificate of Authority for Advanced Practice Nursing in the State of Ohio; NCC certification as Neonatal Nurse Practitioner required,
    • Maintains BLS, NRP and Certificate of Authority..
    • Experience: Minimum of two years recent and relevant nursing experience preferred.
    • Effective Communication Skills
    • Has knowledge of Certificate to Prescribe.
    • Demonstrated leadership and teaching abilities.

    This position will work 12 or 24 hour shifts, rotating schedule.
