Best Medical Center is seeking a compassionate, knowledgeable, and patient-focused Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) to provide comprehensive primary care services. Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive and focused patient assessments, including medical history, medication review, allergies, social/family history, and risk assessments.
Perform physical examinations and accurately document patient findings.
Evaluate and manage acute, chronic, preventive, and follow-up primary care concerns.
Diagnose and treat common primary care conditions, including hypertension, diabetes, hyperlipidemia, obesity, thyroid disorders, asthma/COPD, respiratory and urinary conditions, musculoskeletal concerns, dermatologic conditions, and other conditions within scope of practice.
Develop evidence-based treatment plans and monitor patient progress.
Provide chronic disease management, preventive care, health screenings, wellness counseling, and patient education.
Review laboratory and diagnostic results and coordinate referrals and follow-up care.
Recognize urgent or emergent conditions and appropriately consult, refer, or direct patients to emergency care when indicated.
Perform permitted office procedures consistent with training, privileges, and applicable laws and regulations.
Provide telehealth services when permitted by applicable requirements and Best Medical Center policies.
Provide clear treatment instructions, follow-up recommendations, and warning signs to patients.
Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant medical records.
Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to provide coordinated patient care.
Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and applicable healthcare regulations.
Qualifications
Current and unrestricted APRN/Nurse Practitioner license
National board certification as a Nurse Practitioner.
Master's degree or higher from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
Current BLS certification and DEA registration/prescribing authority, as applicable.
Primary care experience preferred; qualified new graduates may be considered.
Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, treatment, documentation, and patient communication skills.
Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
Experience with electronic health records (EHR) preferred.
