Join the YMCA, where a better us starts with you! We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Aquatic Aerobics Exercise Instructor at our Hamilton YMCA location to lead energizing classes that promote member wellness and engagement.

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead safe, enjoyable, and educational group water fitness classes to support the YMCA mission
• Provide support and guidance to members in achieving their healthy living goals
• Build authentic relationships with members and foster a sense of community
• Maintain accurate class attendance records and follow YMCA policies and procedures

Qualifications:

• Certifications in CPR, First Aid, AED, Oxygen administration, and YMCA Water Fitness Instructor (completion required upon hire)
• Certification in area of expertise and Y Aquatic Safety Assistant or lifeguard certification
• Preferably at least one year of experience teaching group wellness classes

Physical Demands:

• Ability to conduct classes and activities effectively
• Capable of performing all physical aspects of the position, including swimming, standing, bending, and lifting
