Under the immediate supervision of the Monthly Natatorium Instructor, ensures the safety and supervision of patrons at Park District beaches and aquatic facilities. Performs related duties as required. Focus on improving patron's experience on the beach.

Training and experience: Completion of at least two years of high school is recommended.
Certification requirements (must have all prior to first day of work): American Red Cross First Aid or equivalent, American Red Cross AED or equivalent, American Red Cross Oxygen Administration or equivalent, and American Red Cross Bloodborne Pathogens Training or equivalent. Classes will be offered to meet the requirements and applications must pass.
Knowledge, skills and abilities: Ability to meet and deal with the public. Ability to administer first aid and CPR to patrons needing such attention. Not a requirement to have any knowledge of lifeguarding methods or techniques.
