Aquatic Fitness Instructor - Part-Time

• Plan and lead engaging aquatic fitness classes, including water aerobics and other swim-based fitness programs.

• Demonstrate proper exercise techniques and provide modifications to help participants of all fitness levels exercise safely and effectively.

• Create a positive class environment, offering encouragement and feedback to support participants in achieving their fitness goals.

• Ensure a safe swim environment, responding to emergencies and administer first aid or CPR when needed.

• Track class attendance.

Minimum Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Previous experience teaching group fitness or aquatic fitness classes preferred.

• Aquatic Fitness Instructor certification, such as AEA, YMCA or equivalent.

• Certification in CPR, First Aid and AED.
