Introduction
The Prince William County Department of Parks and Recreations Adapted Programming is committed to providing a continuum of programs and activities for all. Programs are conducted at multiple locations across the county and are specifically designed for individuals with disabilities. We are looking for an Aquatic Inclusion Aide to work with individuals with special needs in the water.
This position works closely with children with disabilities in swim lessons only. Swim lessons are held at the Sharron Baucom Dale City Recreation Center and the Chinn Aquatics and Fitness Center in our indoor swimming pool environment. Hours can vary and are dependent upon program enrollment. Aquatic Inclusion Aides will work 1:1 with a child with a disability in an established swim lesson class under the supervision of our Adapted Swim Instructors.

Instructors in this classification teach beginner and intermediate specialty level classes. Example: beginner/intermediate ballet, tap, jazz, safety, CPR, first aid, mini camps, environmental education and parent/child classes.
