POSITION SUMMARY:
The Pawtucket Family Branch of the YMCA of Pawtucket is seeking an enthusiastic, mission-driven Aquatics Director to join our leadership team. The Aquatics Director leads a team of lifeguards and swim instructors, creating a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment where members and guests of all ages and abilities can thrive. This position is responsible for recruiting, training, scheduling, and developing aquatics staff while ensuring exceptional safety standards and outstanding members' experiences.
A primary focus of this role is growing our swim lesson program because we believe every child should have the opportunity to learn this life-saving skill. You will expand participation, support and develop outstanding instructors, and oversee grant-funded programs that make swim lessons accessible to children and families throughout our community.
As a member of the branch leadership team, you will collaborate across departments to strengthen member experiences, develop innovative programs, and support the continued growth of our vibrant urban YMCA.
