Description

Kforce's client in Wilmington, MA that is seeking an AR Analyst/Senior AR Analyst to support accounts receivable, collections, credit, and reporting activities while helping improve AR processes and drive operational efficiency. This role requires a strong analytical mindset, the ability to investigate account issues, and expertise working within Sage ERP environments. The ideal candidate can balance customer interactions, collections support, reporting analysis, and process improvement initiatives in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze accounts receivable data and identify collection, billing, and account issues
  • Manage and support collections activities, customer outreach, and account resolution efforts
  • Research discrepancies, payment issues, and aging balances
  • Review reporting for accuracy and identify trends, exceptions, and process gaps
  • Utilize Sage ERP to pull data, analyze account activity, and support decision-making
  • Develop recommendations to improve AR processes, collections strategies, and reporting accuracy
  • Partner with internal teams and customers to resolve complex account issues
  • Support credit and collections initiatives while maintaining positive customer relationships
  • Assist with process improvement and AR optimization projects
  • Prepare reports, account analyses, and management updates as needed

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered
  • Strong Accounts Receivable, Credit, or Collections experience
  • Sage ERP experience required, preferably Sage 100 or Sage X3
  • Ability to navigate Sage, analyze data, and troubleshoot account issues
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Customer service mindset with strong communication skills
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and business needs
  • Ability to work onsite two days per week
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with process improvement or rebuilding AR and collections processes
  • Experience developing account or collections strategies
  • Experience serving as a collections subject matter expert
  • Experience mentoring or supporting team members
  • Familiarity with AI tools such as Copilot, Claude, or similar solutions

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
