AR and Grant Accountant
Location: Seattle, WA
Pay: $39–$41/hour
Schedule: Full-Time
Our client is looking for an Accounts Receivable & Grants Accountant to join their Finance team. This role will focus on accounts receivable, grant and contract billing, revenue tracking, and financial reporting while working closely with internal teams.
Responsibilities
- Manage accounts receivable and customer billing
- Prepare and track government contract and grant billings
- Monitor grant and contract revenue and funding
- Perform account reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records
- Assist with financial reporting and month-end activities
- Partner with internal teams to resolve billing and accounting questions
- Ensure transactions are properly documented and compliant with funding requirements
Qualifications
- 2+ years of accounting experience
- Accounts receivable experience required
- Grant or contract accounting experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficiency with Excel and accounting systems
- Strong communication and follow-through
