LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable & Collections Specialist for a growing company in the construction industry near the Phoenix/Tempe border. This role is contract right now, for about 5 months. This is a fully onsite position, Monday-Friday. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong B2B collections experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and managing customer accounts. Pay range is between $25/hr-$28/hr.

Responsibilities:

• Manage accounts receivable and perform B2B collections on outstanding customer balances.

• Contact customers regarding past-due invoices, payment arrangements, and account discrepancies.

• Research and resolve billing and payment issues while maintaining accurate account records.

• Prepare, review, and process lien waivers and related construction documentation.

• Reconcile customer accounts and follow up on outstanding payments.

• Maintain accurate collection notes, aging reports, and account documentation.

• Work closely with internal departments to resolve account issues and support timely collections.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in accounts receivable and commercial collections required

• Construction industry experience strongly preferred, including familiarity with lien waivers and construction billing.

• Strong communication, organization, and follow-up skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting or ERP systems.

• Ability to work onsite Monday-Friday near the Phoenix/Tempe border.
