AR Collections Specialist Remote

Kforce has a client in Saint Louis, MO that is seeking an AR/Collections Specialist. This is a remote role.

Summary: The AR/Collections Specialist obtains payment updates, collects, maintains, and secures accurate payment on the assigned customer base. In this role, you will administer timely collection follow ups and is highly effective at adhering to collection policies to optimize collection efforts.

Duties:

• Generates daily high volume of outbound collection outreaches via email/voice calls
• Engages and promptly notify Management of any customers' unwillingness to pay per their payment terms
• Maintains over 90% of A/R at 3%
• Daily pulls an aging report for the assigned customer base; Contacts customers with past due balances greater than 30 days, documents collection efforts, payment status, billing issues, and resolution status
• Displays a courteous and professional manner when communicating to customers (internal/external)
• Document collection efforts on the ERP system; Provides additional support to other departments when necessary to resolve customers issues
• Responds to credit hold queues in a timely fashion (within 2 minutes) to avoid customer delays at the counter or delivery of order
• Monitor assigned shared A/R Credit Department email inbox
• Performs other duties as requested or needed
