Kforce has a client that is seeking an AR/Collections Supervisor in Baltimore, MD. Duties:
  • Oversee accounts receivable and collections activities to support timely payment and reduce outstanding balances
  • Monitor aging reports and follow up on delinquent accounts
  • Work with internal teams and external partners to resolve billing discrepancies and collection issues
  • Coordinate payment arrangements, account settlements, and escalated collection matters as needed
  • Develop and maintain collection procedures, workflows, and reporting processes
  • Prepare and present accounts receivable metrics, aging analyses, and cash collection reports to management
  • Supervise daily AR operations, including cash application, account reconciliations, and customer account maintenance
  • Ensure accurate processing of payments, credits, adjustments, and account transactions
  • Support month-end and year-end close activities related to accounts receivable
  • Maintain accuracy of AR records and assist with audit requests and financial reporting requirements
  • Lead, mentor, and develop team members while promoting process improvements and operational efficiency
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in accounts receivable, collections, credit, treasury, or related accounting functions
  • Previous leadership, supervisory, or team lead experience preferred
  • Strong understanding of accounts receivable processes, account reconciliations, and cash application
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service abilities
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and follow-through
  • Sound judgment and decision-making skills
  • Ability to analyze aging reports, identify collection risks, and recommend solutions
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to build effective working relationships across departments and with external stakeholders
  • Flexible and adaptable in changing business environments

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
