Accounts & Billing Specialist

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts & Billing Specialist to support our accounting operations and ensure accuracy throughout the billing and revenue process. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with data, meeting deadlines, and collaborating across teams to deliver high-quality financial results.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with the contract administration team to review and validate system entries
• Review and maintain revenue recognition schedules for accuracy and compliance
• Prepare and distribute client invoices in accordance with contract terms
• Upload Proof of Performance (POP) documentation to client portals and support invoice packages
• Accurately post client payments and maintain up-to-date records
• Assist with additional accounting and administrative tasks as needed

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration preferred
  • Equivalent professional experience (5+ years) will be considered in lieu of a degree
• 2+ years of relevant experience in accounting, billing, or finance
• Experience working with accounting systems (Sage Intacct experience is a plus)
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and spreadsheets
