As an Arborist Groundsman Laborer, you'll play a vital role in maintaining and beautifying outdoor spaces. You'll work closely with experienced arborists and team members to complete projects safely and efficiently, contributing to healthy, visually appealing landscapes.
What You'll Do
As a Groundsman Arborist laborer, you will be responsible for:
- Performing various arborist-related tasks land clearing, limbing, and clean up
- Operating and maintaining equipment such as chainsaws, trimmers, and other tools safely and effectively
- Following safety protocols and regulations to ensure a secure work environment
- Assisting with the setup and cleanup of work sites
- Communicating effectively with supervisors and team members to coordinate work and meet project deadlines
What You'll Bring The ideal candidate for this role will have:
- At least six months of experience in landscaping, arboriculture, or a related field
- Chainsaw experience and familiarity with basic arborist techniques
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, and kneeling, for extended periods
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Ability to work effectively in various weather conditions
- Good communication and teamwork skills
