About this Job
The Division of Administration/Office of State Buildings has a vacancy. This job title has an assigned pay grade of TS-316.
In addition to the duties described below, this position serves as a senior advisor and expert to agency staff and user agencies in the maintenance and planning of all facilities owned or managed by the Division of Administration (DOA). The incumbent must be willing to continue training and research in this field to maintain a high level of expertise. The Office of State Buildings (OSB) manages a portfolio of 38 facilities totaling over 6,700,000 square feet. Consistent and proper maintenance, repairs, and improvements to these facilities require the guidance and technical expertise of a licensed Architect. This position provides functional supervision over contracted designers, contractors, and other professional consultants, as well as regulatory oversight of state agencies for the administration of the capital construction budget.
The Division of Administration is the state government's management arm and the hub of its financial operations. Division offices perform a wide variety of activities, including the following:
Minimum Qualifications
Possession of a current Louisiana license to practice architecture plus one year of experience as a licensed architect.
