We are seeking to hire an Architectural Designer to join our Mission Critical practice within our Buildings Team for our Chicago, IL and New York, NY offices and offer a hybrid work schedule. Assists Project Architect in the preparation of construction documents and specifications using computer assisted design software and equipment. - Assists in the preparation and production of presentation materials, models and material boards. - Contribute to the preparation of project documentation, including design drawings, specifications, reports, and supporting materials. - Participate in construction‑phase activities, including assisting with on‑site observations and documenting field conditions under supervision. - Communicate clearly and professionally with project team members and, as appropriate, external stakeholders. - Participates in firm-wide quality initiatives. Bachelor's degree in Architecture and 1-2 years related experience. - Able to read, analyze and interpret general business documents, professional journals, technical procedures or governmental regulations. - Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and other technical design software. - Proficient with additional architectural or visualization software, (Rhinoceros, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.) as well as the Microsoft Office Suite - Certified as a Great Place to Work, Woolpert is one of the fastest-growing architecture, engineering, and geospatial companies in the world.
