Senior Network Engineer

Pay Range: $55 - $60/hr.

Architect/Senior Network Engineer with over 10+ years in telecommunications engineering efforts within major Oil & Gas FEED, Detailed Engineering & EPC projects.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 10+ years of progressive experience in Telecommunications Engineering, with at least 5 years in a Lead or Senior role within the Oil & Gas EPC sector.
  • Proven track record in FEED and Detailed Engineering for industrial networks of Greenfield and Brownfield projects, covering Onshore and Offshore facilities.
  • Demonstrated experience in the full project lifecycle, including engineering, installation supervision, and commissioning.
  • Strong expertise in industrial networking (Cisco, Hirschmann, Moxa, Siemens).

Technical Skills & Competencies:

  • Essential proficiency in AutoCAD for creating 2D engineering drawings, layouts, and schematics. Ability to guide drafters and review.dwg files for technical accuracy.
  • SCADA & Automation: In-depth knowledge of SCADA architectures, RTUs, PLCs, and industrial communication protocols (Modbus, DNP3, IEC 61850).
  • Strong background in IP Networking, VLANs, and cyber security principles relevant to industrial control systems (ICS).
  • Fiber Architecture & Redundancy (Ring, A/B, Geo‐Redundant)
  • Fiber Cutover & Network Migration
  • Fiber Infrastructure (FJC, FJB, ODF, Panels, Racks)
  • FEED & EPC Engineering Deliverables
  • Hands‐on with Cisco IOS/IOS‐XE, Juniper, Siemens.
  • Expert-level knowledge of Fiber Optic cable plant design (OSP/ISP).
  • Oil & Gas / Industrial Telecom Systems
