Job Description

Role Overview
  • This role focuses on technical architecture, development, performance optimization, and infrastructure for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (Finance & Supply Chain Management) across multiple industry verticals, with a strong emphasis on regulated healthcare environments.
  • The architect ensures high quality, scalable, secure solutions, compliant with US GAAP, IRS, and Indian GST/TDS regulations, supporting multi region deployments.
Key Responsibilities

Architecture & Technical Leadership
  • Lead the technical architecture and design of D365 F&O customizations, extensions, and developments using X++, extensibility framework, Power Platform, and Azure services.
  • Define end to end solution architectures, including microservices based integrations, DevOps architecture, and cloud native patterns.
  • Design data models, performance strategies, and security architectures (roles, SoD, encryption) aligned with HIPAA adjacent financial data and healthcare audit requirements.
Development & Performance Optimization
  • Conduct technical fit gap analysis, code reviews, and performance tuning for high volume workloads such as:
  • AR/AP for healthcare claims
  • Procurement and inventory for medical and pharmacy supplies
  • Optimize D365 F&O solutions for scalability, availability, and maintainability.
DevOps & Deployment
  • Architect and oversee DevOps pipelines using LCS and Azure DevOps for CI/CD, builds, testing, and deployments.
  • Manage deployments across US and India sandboxes and production environments.
  • Ensure governance, release controls, and secure deployment practices.
Integration & Data Management
  • Design and troubleshoot integrations using:
  • OData
  • Custom services
  • Batch jobs
  • Azure Logic Apps and Azure Functions
Support data migration and validation using the Data Management Framework, ensuring data quality for:
  • Master data (items, vendors, chart of accounts)
  • Transactional data in multi entity setups
  • Collaboration & Delivery
Collaborate with functional consultants, offshore teams, and stakeholders for:
  • Requirements validation
  • Proofs of Concept (PoCs)
  • Hypercare and post go live support
  • Mentor junior developers and enforce Microsoft best practices, reducing technical debt.
  • Contribute to pre sales activities, including technical proposals, effort estimation, and solution demos for healthcare RFPs
Must Have Skills
  • Technical Architecture (Enterprise & Solution Architecture)
  • Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O / SCM)
  • Microservices Architecture & Integration Patterns
  • X++ Development & D365 Extensibility Framework
  • DevOps Architecture (Azure DevOps, CI/CD, release management)
  • Microsoft 365 E5 (Security, identity, collaboration integration awareness)
  • Azure Cloud Services (Logic Apps, Functions, SQL, monitoring)
  • Security & Compliance Architecture (roles, SoD, encryption, audit readiness)
Required Experience
  • 8-12 years of total IT experience.
  • 5+ years hands on D365 F&O / AX development experience.
  • 3+ years as a Technical Architect or Senior Developer on D365 implementations.
  • Delivered 3+ full lifecycle D365 F&O implementations, including custom X++ development, extensions, and Azure integrations.
  • Experience with multi country deployments and regulatory localizations.
  • Proven experience in onshore/offshore delivery models, Agile/Scrum, and large scale ERP performance tuning.
