Position Overview


We are seeking a Licensed Architect (Architect III level) to lead technical design and coordination efforts across healthcare, institutional, and commercial projects. This role involves full ownership of assigned project segments from design through construction administration, with increasing leadership responsibilities and client-facing involvement.


The ideal candidate will serve as a senior technical resource, independently resolving design and coordination challenges while mentoring junior staff and supporting multidisciplinary project delivery.


Key Responsibilities


  •  Lead architectural production from SD through CA with full technical responsibility 
  •  Coordinate with MEP, structural, and civil consultants to resolve design issues 
  •  Perform detailed code analysis (IBC, ADA, FGI, life safety, local codes) 
  •  Direct and mentor Architect I & II staff, including redline reviews 
  •  Review RFIs, submittals, and manage construction administration tasks 
  •  Conduct site visits and prepare field observation reports 
  •  Participate in client, OAC, and coordination meetings 
  •  Develop and review specifications across CSI divisions 
  •  Identify and manage technical, scope, and coordination risks 
  •  Support QA/QC and ensure documentation accuracy and compliance 
Requirements


  •  Licensed Architect (Required) 
  •  8–18+ years total experience (5+ years post-licensure) 
  •  Strong Revit and BIM coordination experience 
  •  Experience in SD, DD, CD, CA phases 
  •  Strong knowledge of building codes, systems, and detailing 
  •  Healthcare, institutional, or commercial experience preferred 
  •  Strong leadership and communication skills 
Work Environment


Collaborative AEC environment with involvement across multiple active projects. Includes office-based work, coordination meetings, and periodic site visits for construction observation.
