The Architect is responsible for the development of specifications, models, and guidelines within a comprehensive IT architecture framework. This role involves designing solutions that align with enterprise, infrastructure, and security architecture processes, often requiring cross-organizational collaboration. The Architect defines the transition plan from the current state to the desired future state, ensuring seamless integration and scalability.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain IT architecture frameworks, models, and guidelines.
Collaborate with stakeholders to align IT strategies with business objectives.
Define architectural standards and best practices for enterprise-wide solutions.
Identify gaps in the current architecture and propose future-state solutions.
Ensure security, scalability, and efficiency of IT solutions.
Provide expertise in business, information/data, security, and technical architecture.
Lead cross-functional teams to implement architectural transitions.
Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend strategic adoption.
Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proven experience in IT architecture, enterprise solutions, or system design.
Strong knowledge of architectural frameworks and methodologies.
Expertise in cloud computing, security architecture, and infrastructure design.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certifications in enterprise architecture (TOGAF, Zachman, or equivalent).
Experience with microservices, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), and DevOps practices.
Familiarity with regulatory and compliance standards in IT security.
