Job Description
Architect - $100,000-$120,000 - Nappanee, IN (Onsite)

$100,000-$120,000 per year Full-Time Onsite No Relocation Assistance No Visa Sponsorship

We are conducting a confidential search for a licensed Architect to lead commercial building design projects from concept through completion. This role requires strong technical design capability, construction knowledge, and the ability to manage projects while ensuring compliance with all applicable codes and quality standards.

This is an onsite position in Nappanee, Indiana.

Position Responsibilities
• Lead architectural projects from concept through completion
• Meet with clients and stakeholders to develop functional, compliant building plans
• Create 2D and 3D technical drawings using AutoCAD and Revit
• Prepare detailed drawings reflecting both structural integrity and design intent
• Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and state submittal procedures
• Direct internal staff in development of drawings, studies, and budgets
• Identify and resolve design issues promptly
• Support planning, bidding, and project development efforts
• Conduct jobsite visits to ensure construction aligns with architectural plans

Requirements

Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field
• Active State Architect license
• Strong knowledge of commercial construction methods and materials
• Expert understanding of building codes, regulations, and quality standards
• Minimum 3 years of AutoCAD experience
• Proficiency with Revit
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Valid driver's license

Preferred Qualifications
• Experience managing architectural projects from start to finish
• Experience leading small teams or coordinating multidisciplinary efforts
