Job Title: Architecture Project Manager

Job Description

This role combines architectural design expertise with project management responsibilities to deliver high-quality public and municipal projects from pre-design through construction. The Architect Project Manager develops design and technical solutions, produces detailed construction documents, and supports all phases of the project lifecycle under the general supervision of a Project Architect or Project Manager. This position offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative office environment on meaningful civic and retail projects while contributing to an employee-owned organization.

Responsibilities

  • Develop design and technical solutions under the general supervision of a Project Architect.
  • Produce complete, accurate construction documents under general supervision.
  • Assist with data collection, documentation, and analysis for programming and existing facilities assessments.
  • Perform building and zoning code compliance reviews to ensure design and documentation meet applicable regulations.
  • Participate in construction administration tasks, including reviewing submittals, responding to requests for information (RFIs), preparing addenda, and conducting construction site visits under the general supervision of a Project Architect or Project Manager.
  • Maintain organized and up-to-date project files and documentation throughout all phases of the project.
  • Assess, solve, and document project-related issues that arise during construction, coordinating with the project team as needed.
  • Assume additional responsibilities and perform special projects as needed or directed to support project and firm objectives.

Essential Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture.
  • At least 3 years of experience in public or municipal architecture.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience using Revit or AutoCAD.
  • At least 3 years of experience working across pre-design, programming, design, and completion of construction documents.
  • Proficiency in developing construction documents and construction drawings.
  • Experience with architectural design and drafting for public works and retail projects.
  • Ability to perform building and zoning code compliance reviews.
  • Competence in design and drafting using Revit and/or AutoCAD.
  • Strong organizational skills to maintain comprehensive project files.
  • Ability to support construction administration activities, including submittal review, RFIs, addenda, and site visits.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with public works projects.
  • Familiarity with pre-design and programming processes for existing facilities.
  • Strong analytical skills for data collection and documentation.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a project team and follow direction from a Project Architect or Project Manager.
  • Willingness to take on additional responsibilities and special projects as needed.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Cleveland, OH.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $43.00/hr.
