Architect/Project Manager – Commercial/Industrial

Responsibilities:<\/span><\/span>
<\/p>

• Outline project approach and assist with developing fees for project proposals<\/span><\/span>
  <\/span><\/li>
• <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Lead programming efforts with a focus on customer service<\/span><\/span>
  <\/span><\/li>
• Lead architecture design while working with internal design teams to develop innovative/functional designs<\/span><\/span>
  <\/span><\/li>
• Mentor/train junior staff<\/span><\/span>
  <\/span><\/li>
• Identify potential risks and look for alternative strategies to mitigate them<\/span><\/span>
  <\/span><\/li>
• Ensure projects comply with local building codes and zoning regulations<\/span><\/span>
  <\/span><\/li>
• <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Incorporate best practices<\/span><\/span>
  <\/span><\/li>
• Handle construction administration, contractor questions, and RFI responses<\/span><\/span>
  <\/span><\/li>
• Develop construction documents/specifications for commercial projects (industrial, warehouse, data center or distribution center projects)<\/span><\/span>
  <\/span><\/li>
• Work directly with the client providing timely updates on project status and discussing project scope<\/span><\/span>
  <\/span><\/li>
• Coordinate with internal teams, including project planning, scheduling, and tracking<\/span><\/span>
  <\/span><\/li><\/ul>

   <\/span><\/span>
  <\/p>

  Requirements:<\/span><\/span>
  <\/p>

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture<\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/li>
  • 8+ years of commercial architecture<\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Knowledgeable in code/materials and methods commonly used in the industrial, manufacturing, and distribution center projects<\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/li>
  • <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Experience with specification writing<\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Construction administration experience<\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Valid Driver’s License is required<\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/li><\/ul>

    Salary is commensurate with experience.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/a>
