About the Role

The Architect - Senior Project Manager provides leadership across all phases of design and construction for Lillibridge projects, including concept design, space programming, design development, interior finish selections, technical coordination, and project execution. This role serves as the primary liaison among design consultants, general contractors, internal stakeholders, and tenants, ensuring consistent communication, compliance with design standards, and seamless project execution. The Senior Project Manager oversees multiple concurrent projects, drives design integrity, ensures adherence to schedule and budget, and supports high-quality delivery of healthcare and commercial real estate environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee multiple design and construction projects across various phases, including building renovations, expansions, common-area upgrades, and tenant improvement projects. • Manage and coordinate activities of third-party architectural and engineering consultants, medical equipment planners, specialty consultants, and contractors. • Prepare, negotiate, and manage contracts with external vendors, consultants, and A/E teams in partnership with Legal, with final approval from the VP - Design & Construction. • Maintain expertise in applicable building codes, permitting requirements, healthcare design standards, and Lillibridge design guidelines. • Coordinate design and construction documents, serving as liaison with tenants, property management, and leasing teams to obtain design approvals. • Lead contractor bidding, permitting, and construction oversight, including RFIs, payment application review, cost changes, and progress documentation. • Lead interior finish selection and approval processes with internal teams and tenants. • Manage project close-out activities including punchlists, tenant and property management walkthroughs, and turnover documentation.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or related environmental design field; advanced degree in healthcare design preferred.

Registered Architect, Interior Designer, or similar professional designation. Maintain registration meeting continuing education requirements of the licensing authority.

5+ years of experience in healthcare design and construction documentation, with strong familiarity in healthcare environments.

Skilled in construction management with demonstrated strengths in problem-solving, negotiation, and conflict resolution.

Proven ability to manage design integrity while delivering projects within approved budgets and schedules.

Proficient in Revit or other BIM/visualization platforms.

Strong professional communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.

Ability to travel up to 50%, including multi-day trips across multiple cities.

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without need for employer sponsorship now or in the future.

Estimated Base Salary Range The estimated base salary range for this position is $130,000- $185,000 per year. This range reflects a good-faith estimate of the base salary Ventas reasonably expects to pay at the time of posting. Actual base pay will be determined based on work location, skills, qualifications, relevant experience, and business needs.
