Description

We are seeking a talented and creative Architectural Designer to join our team on a contract basis. This onsite role offers flexible hours, allowing you to balance your work and personal commitments while contributing to innovative and impactful architectural projects. You will work closely with our Principal Architectural Consultant, collaborating on a range of exciting projects from initial concept through to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

* Collaborate with the Principal Architectural Consultant to develop and refine architectural designs

* Create detailed drawings, renderings, and presentations using industry-standard software (AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, etc.)

* Assist in conceptual design, design development, and construction documentation

* Conduct site visits, measurements, and evaluations to support project requirements

* Coordinate with project stakeholders, consultants, and contractors as needed

* Ensure all designs comply with relevant codes, standards, and regulations

* Contribute creative ideas and solutions throughout all phases of the design process

* Participate in project meetings, contribute ideas, and integrate feedback

* Manage project timelines and deliverables to ensure deadlines are met

* Stay updated on design trends, local codes, and sustainable building practices

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field

* 2+ years of professional experience in architectural design

* Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite

* Strong portfolio demonstrating design skills and technical ability

* Excellent communication and collaboration skills

* Ability to work independently and take initiative

* Ability to work onsite with flexible hours

* Familiarity with local building codes and regulations is a plus
