Architectural Designer

Location: Denver, CO Experience: 1-5 years

EXP is seeking an Architectural Designer to support our Denver studio across a range of project types. This role is well‑suited for a junior to intermediate professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and is eager to contribute throughout all phases of design and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Support the development of architectural designs, layouts, and concepts from early planning through construction.
• Prepare drawings, models, and architectural documentation using Revit across all project phases, including Programming, Conceptual Design, Schematic Design, Design Development, and Construction Documents.
• Collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and internal project teams to deliver coordinated, high‑quality design solutions.
• Participate in client meetings and design presentations, incorporating feedback into ongoing project work.
• Assist in maintaining drawing standards, quality control, and compliance with applicable codes and project requirements.

Qualifications

• Professional degree in Architecture or a related discipline.
• 1-5 years of professional experience in an architectural design role.
• Proficiency in Revit; experience with AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and 3D modeling tools is an asset.
• Solid understanding of architectural design principles and construction documentation.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Clear communication skills and a collaborative, team‑oriented mindset.

The salary range for this role is $65K to $75K. Actual compensation will be determined based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to the candidates skill set, experience, certifications, and geographic location. Compensation may vary by location due to differences in the cost of labor.
