Our project portfolio includes a wide variety of commercial architecture, adaptive reuse, interior architecture, and interior design projects across Central Florida and the East Coast.

The Opportunity

\n

We are seeking a full-time Architectural Designer and Project Manager to join our downtown Orlando office. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work independently and collaboratively with a project team to program, plan, design, manage, and administer architectural projects across multiple typologies and scales. Clients will rely on you to solve problems, communicate effectively, and take ownership of projects while maintaining RTF Architects’ quality standards.

What You’ll Do

\n

·        Lead and contribute to projects through all phases of architectural practice, from planning and design through construction administration and close-out.

\n

·        Develop and coordinate design and construction documents.

\n

·        Manage project schedules, scopes, budgets, and deliverables.

\n

·        Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal project teams.

\n

·        Perform quality reviews of drawings and documents as part of the firm’s broader QA/QC process.

\n

·        Apply knowledge of building codes, regulations, and industry standards to project work.

\n

·        Mentor and support less experienced architects and designers.

\n

·        Communicate clearly and effectively with clients and project team members.

\n

·        Take ownership of project responsibilities while knowing when to collaborate, delegate, and seek input.

\n


\n

What You Bring

\n

·        Bachelor’s degree or higher in architecture or interior architecture from an accredited program.

\n

·        5+ years of professional architectural experience.

\n

·        Demonstrated experience creating design and construction documents using Revit, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and Adobe Creative Suite.

\n

·        Strong project coordination and time-management skills.

\n

·        Understanding of project scopes, budgets, and schedules.

\n

·        Exceptional attention to detail.

\n

·        Ability to perform thorough quality reviews of your own work as part of a broader QA/QC process.

\n

·        Effective communication and organizational skills.

\n

·        Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently when necessary.

\n

·        Strong knowledge of building codes and regulations.

\n

Ideally, You’ll Also Have

\n

·        A professional architectural license or be actively pursuing licensure.

\n

·        Experience leading a project team or mentoring other professionals.

\n

·        Involvement in professional organizations.

\n

Compensation

\n

The base salary range for this position is $80,000–$120,000. Within this range, individual compensation is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
