Location: Tampa, FL. Must work in office. Compensation: $50‑80k (depending on experience).An experienced Senior Architectural Drafter focused on producing high‑quality, buildable construction documents for residential builder clients. This fully in‑office role is best suited for a proactive, detail‑oriented technical professional who excels in drafting, coordination, and resolving plan and field issues.Required5–8 years of architectural drafting experience in an architectural firm, with a strong background in residential construction.Extensive experience preparing and editing Construction Documents in a production‑home or similar environment.Light commercial drafting experience is a plus but not required.Proficient in all stages of Construction Document creation and review, from schematic layouts through permit‑ready sets.Associate or bachelor's degree in Architecture, Drafting, Construction, or a related field (preferred, not required).Working knowledge of current Florida Building Code and related standards (Accessibility Code, NEC, etc.).Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to document revisions and respond to internal and client emails clearly and professionally.Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); proficiency in CAD/BIM software consistent with office standards is required.ResponsibilitiesDevelop complete, code‑compliant Construction Documents for single‑family and multi‑family residential projects, including architectural and basic structural plan components.Interpret and implement redlines from architects, project managers, engineers, and clients with a high level of accuracy and consistency.Coordinate with outside consultants and trades (Structural Engineer, Truss Company, MEP, etc.) to incorporate their drawings, specifications, and revisions into the CD set.Review drawings for quality control, constructability, and consistency across plan series, elevations, and options.Prepare, update, and maintain permit‑ready plan sets and respond to Building Department comments with clear, coordinated revisions.Provide technical drafting support during construction, including revisions for field conditions, required repairs, and builder‑requested changes.Maintain organized digital files, drawing standards, and sheet setups to support efficient production and quick plan turnaround.Work within deadlines in a high‑paced work environment while communicating progress and issues to the Project Manager or Principal Architect.#J-18808-Ljbffr
