Czar Millwork is seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Architectural Millwork Drafter to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled mid-level drafter who understands custom millwork construction and can independently produce accurate, shop-ready drawings.

Responsibilities
Produce detailed and accurate shop drawings for custom architectural millwork, cabinetry, and related products
Interpret architectural plans, specifications, field dimensions, and design documents
Develop plans, elevations, sections, details, and material callouts
Incorporate redlines, revisions, and approved submittal comments
Coordinate with project managers, engineers, production personnel, installers, architects, designers, and contractors
Identify dimensional conflicts, missing information, and constructability concerns before production
Prepare drawings that clearly communicate materials, hardware, finishes, joinery, and installation requirements
Maintain drawing accuracy while meeting project schedules and deadlines
Support projects from initial drafting through approval, fabrication, and installation
Qualifications
Approximately 3–7 years of drafting experience, preferably in architectural millwork, custom cabinetry, casework, or a closely related field
Strong proficiency in AutoCAD
Solid understanding of millwork construction methods, materials, hardware, and joinery
Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and specifications
Experience producing complete shop-drawing packages with limited supervision
Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and changing priorities
Clear written and verbal communication skills
Familiarity with AWI standards is strongly preferred
Experience with Microvellum, Cabinet Vision, CNC programming, or other CAD/CAM software is a plus
Field-measuring and project-coordination experience is a plus
