Description

Architectural Revit Specialist

Our client is a leading mid-sized architectural firm located in NYC with offices around the Tri-state and Florida. Their IT Department is currently seeking a detail-oriented Revit Support Professional with expertise in BIM standards, user support, workflow optimization, and architectural documentation. Candidates should be well-versed and skilled in troubleshooting Revit environments, developing office standards, training staff, and improving project delivery through efficient BIM processes.

Technical Attributes:

• Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit • Strong understanding of BIM workflows and standards • Knowledge of architectural documentation and construction processes • Experience creating and maintaining Revit families, templates, and libraries • Ability to troubleshoot model performance and software issues • Familiarity with interoperability tools (CAD, IFC, Navisworks, Rhino, etc.) • Understanding of work sharing, central models, and cloud collaboration • Knowledge of Dynamo scripting and automation is a plus • Awareness of industry standards and QA/QC procedures • Ability to manage BIM execution plans and office standards

Operational / Support Skills:

• Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic abilities • Ability to train staff with varying technical skill levels • Strong documentation and workflow organization • Efficient ticketing/help-desk support mindset • Ability to prioritize multiple requests and deadlines • Process improvement orientation • Attention to detail and model accuracy • Ability to standardize workflows across teams • Comfortable supporting project teams under deadline pressure

Communication & Collaboration:

• Team-oriented mindset who can follow directions • Capable of working independently with minimal hand-holding • Clear verbal and written communication • Patience and professionalism when supporting users • Collaborative approach with architects, designers, and consultants • Ability to translate technical concepts into practical guidance • Active listening and responsiveness • Confidence leading workshops or lunch-and-learns

Required Experience:

• BA or BS in Architecture, Architectural Technology, Engineering, or Interior Design • 3 to 5 years of experience supporting BIM in a medium to large sized Firm (architecture, interior design or related industry is a plus) • Working knowledge of AI is a plus

Annual Salary Range*: $75K - $85K
