Support marketing initiatives including lead generation, market-trend analysis, and market strategy development in partnership with New Millennium and industry partners.
This will be a part-time internship position based out of the New Millennium Columbia, SC location during the Fall 2026, Spring 2027, and Summer 2027 terms. The hours will be Monday through Friday, 4 hours per day, totaling 20 hours per week.
Responsibilities:
Conduct market research to identify opportunities, risks, emerging trends, and relevant demographics in the metals industry, and help develop strategies based on those findings.
Analyze sales data, pricing performance, and customer profitability to provide actionable insights.
Mine project leads for project-specific strategies during the schematic and design phases of construction projects.
Qualifications:
Required
Highly organized and self-motivated, with the ability to multi-task under pressure.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
Computer skills for researching marketing metrics and generating reports.
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
Preferred
Interest in pricing, sales analytics, or the metals industry.
Familiarity with Excel-based reporting or CRM tools such as Salesforce
