Architectural Technical Specialist

Location: Culver City, CA (Hybrid)
Pay Rate: $39.70/hour
6-month W-2 Contract with potential to convert to FTE

About the Role

Join a leading global entertainment company as an Architectural Technical Specialist supporting facilities, construction, and real estate operations across a large studio campus. This role is responsible for managing architectural and engineering documentation, maintaining drawing standards, and providing technical support for construction and facility projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and organize architectural and engineering drawing libraries in both digital and hard-copy formats.
• Coordinate drawing distribution with project managers, architects, engineers, and contractors.
• Review CAD files to ensure compliance with established drafting and layering standards.
• Update and maintain as-built drawings, facility records, lot maps, and space data.
• Manage construction document distribution and drawing revisions.
• Support small in-house design and construction projects by producing plans, elevations, and technical documentation.
• Conduct field verifications and update facility drawings as needed.
• Maintain CAD, drafting, space planning, and signage standards across the portfolio.
• Provide drawing support to facilities, operations, events, security, and other internal teams.

Qualifications

• Architectural, engineering, construction, or related technical background.
• Strong understanding of construction documentation and building codes.
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office.
• Experience with facilities, property management, or entertainment environments is a plus.
• Experience with Archibus and 3D rendering software is preferred.
