Responsibilities:

The purpose of the Area Branch Manager is to execute the strategic plan for a designated geographic area, provide leadership and guidance to Branch Managers and their direct Assistant Branch Manager and acts as the key decision maker and leader in area branch operations in the attainment of sales goals and strategic initiatives. This role has budgetary impact and requires strong critical thinking skills in order to solve complex problems.


The Area Branch Manager will oversee thier specific branch in addtion to the Branch Manager(s) for their assigned area. This position will typically oversee 3-5 branches including thir assigned branch.


This role is responsible for strategic business planning, driving  branch growth and service, community engagement, driving associate staffing and developmental plans, and ensuring compliance with regulatory agency and Credit Union standards for their designated area. This includes, but is not limited to, executing branch strategic plans, leading Branch Managers and their direct Assitant Branch Manager, monitoring and tracking performance and practices for efficiency and effectiveness, managing individual budgets, driving business development efforts, coaching staff on sales approaches and developmental areas, and providing leadership to issues involving conflict resolution, process improvement, development and communication. The Area Branch Manager also leads large prospect business calls, actively seeks leadership opportunities to join community groups, creates and delivers public presentations, identifies strategic partnerships, guides Branch Managers and direct Assistant Branch Manager on talent management, and also monitors operations for auditing and compliance purposes.

WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing
• Visually able to perform activities such as preparing and analyzing data and figures, viewing a computer terminal, and extensive reading
• Ability to sit for extended time periods
• Sufficient manual skill for operation of PC keyboard and other standard office equipment
• Ability to travel, including occasional overnight travel
• Ability to exert minimum amounts of force occasionally to lift, carry, push, pull or move objects

Qualifications:

3-5 years of progressive experience in branch sales and service, management, and/or the retail sales environment coupled with progressive branch operations management experience and a broad exposure and familiarity with consumer and real estate lending

 

3+ years of supervisory or management experience in leadership, performance management and staff development for career enhancement where applicable

 

Experience or in-depth knowledge of banking practices, and in-depth understanding of internal audit principles, fraud risks, and regulatory compliance matters.

 

Experience or knowledge of local business climate and involvement in the local business community

Education Level: General and business knowledge equivalent to a bachelor's degree Certifications: None Compensation Overview:

We are excited to offer a competitive salary for this position. This figure serves as the entry point in our salary range, and there is potential for the actual salary to be higher based on a variety of factors, such as your experience, skills, education, and location. We believe in recognizing and rewarding talent, so our compensation packages are thoughtfully designed to reflect the unique qualifications and contributions of each candidate.

The minimum salary for this position is: $101,000.00+/yr About Us:
