The University of Iowa department of Facilities Management - Building Operations and Maintenance is seeking to hire an Area Building Maintenance Mechanic. Under general supervision, has initial responsibility for operation of all buildings and equipment in assigned area and performing skilled tasks in the inspection, maintenance and repair of mechanical systems, facility maintenance, and operation.
Duties to include:
Position Location: Facilities Management Operations Iowa City, Iowa
Shift: Mon-Fri, 8:00 AM- 4:30 PM, due to the critical operational needs of the department, this position may be required to work overtime and participate in the Facilities Management Standby Program.
