Immediate need for a talented Area Customer Service Coordinator. This is a 02+months contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Torrance, CA (Onsite). Key Responsibilities: Driving: Yes, personal vehicle Interview Type: 1st round will be virtual and possible in-person if needed for 2nd round Key Requirements and Technology Experience: Strong customer service orientation and professional demeanor — must be approachable, responsive, and solution-focused at all times in a client-facing environment. Experience in mailroom operations, including heavy shipping and receiving environments: High-volume shipping and receiving experience, International shipping knowledge and processing, Handling and processing incoming and outgoing mail and packages, Experience using FedEx, UPS, and other shipping systems/applications, Comfortable working in fast-paced, physically demanding environments Ability to stand, walk, and be on your feet for extended periods throughout the entire shift. Ability to lift, move, and handle boxes up to 50 pounds consistently throughout the day. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (365). Support multiple customer locations in the Southern Los Angeles area (Torrance, Playa Vista, Hawthorne, and surrounding areas). Services may include mail, shipping/receiving, copy center, reception, hospitality, and conference room setups. Must have strong customer service experience, be flexible with location changes and work hours (able to work 8-hour shifts starting as early as 7am and ending as late as 6pm), and be adaptable to various working environments across different customer verticals (Legal, Healthcare, Insurance, Education, etc.). Candidate must be proactive and able to absorb training effectively. Duties vary by site, and the temp must be able to work independently or with team members. There will be extensive standing, sitting, and walking depending on location; must be able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted. Parking availability varies by site; some locations do not validate parking. Daily costs may vary depending on location. Possible conversion after meeting required hours.
