Overview:

Are you ready to help shape the future of travel and hospitality? RiverPlace Hotel, a new CoralTree managed property, is seeking an Area Director ofPeople Services to join our team.  As the Area Director of People Services, you'll play a key role in bringing our vision to life by leading the People Services operations.  We're looking for someone who shares our passion for creating unforgettable guest and team member experiences, nurturing a vibrant company culture, and building strong connections with our communities.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the People Services operation for multiple business units by ensuring we continue to attract, develop, and retain great talent.
  • Play an integral role in attracting top talent to our organization, utilizing and updating our applicant tracking system, coordinating competency-based interviews, and analyzing data to help us continue to grow and evolve.
  • Lead the team member engagement initiatives including but not limited to Connect x Beekeeper,  CultureAmp our survey platform tool, and property-specific engagement programs.
  • Administer associate benefits and open enrollment to help our team members feel valued and supported.
  • Support our team members by providing coaching, counseling, and disciplinary actions when necessary.
  • Oversee our performance management system, ensuring that performance evaluations are conducted in a timely manner and that our talent management system is effectively identifying and developing our top performers.
  • Stay up to date on the latest government regulations and record-keeping requirements while ensuring that our team feels supported and valued.
  • Administer FMLA/LOA functions with compassion and empathy, ensuring our team members feel supported during times of need.
Qualifications:
  • At least 5 years of HR experience in a similar position.
  • A hands-on leader who values relationship building with all team members.
  • Familiar with employment laws, EEOC regulations, and state-specific guidelines.
  • Comfortable having employee relations conversations in a virtual setting when necessary.
  • Advanced in Microsoft tools and HRIS systems (iCIMS and UKG a plus).

Compensation: $135,000 - $145,000/yr. + 30% bonus
