We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Area General Manager to oversee a portfolio of resort properties and lead high-performing teams focused on service excellence, operational performance, and owner satisfaction.

What You’ll Do
Lead Multi-Property Resort Operations
- Provide strategic leadership and operational oversight for multiple resort properties within your region.
- Coach, mentor, and support on-site General Managers and department leaders to drive performance and accountability.
- Ensure consistency in service standards, operational execution, cleanliness, maintenance, and guest experience across all properties.
- Partner with corporate teams including Operations, Finance, HR, IT, Marketing, and Risk Management to support property success.
Drive Guest & Owner Satisfaction
- Champion a hospitality-first culture focused on exceptional owner and guest experiences.
- Improve guest satisfaction scores, online reputation metrics, and RCI performance results.
- Resolve escalated guest and owner concerns with professionalism, urgency, and sound judgment.
- Support owner engagement initiatives, events, and communication strategies that foster loyalty and community.
Deliver Strong Financial Performance
- Oversee budgets, forecasting, labor management, and operational performance across assigned properties.
- Analyze financial results and operational KPIs to identify opportunities for efficiency, cost savings, and revenue growth.
- Partner on capital projects, renovations, reserve planning, and asset improvement initiatives.
Partner with HOA Boards & Ownership Groups
- Build trusted relationships with HOA Boards through transparency, communication, and operational partnership.
- Lead Board presentations, operational updates, and strategic discussions.
- Navigate complex stakeholder relationships with professionalism, diplomacy, and confidence.
Develop High-Performing Teams
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and service excellence.
- Support leadership development, succession planning, and employee engagement initiatives.
- Drive consistency in training, onboarding, and operational best practices across properties.
What We’re Looking For
- 7+ years of progressive hospitality leadership experience, including multi-property or complex resort operations.
- Experience within timeshare, vacation ownership, HOA-managed resorts, or hospitality management environments strongly preferred.
- Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets, forecasting, labor, and operational performance metrics.
- Proven ability to lead and inspire diverse teams across multiple locations.
- Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills with owners, guests, HOA Boards, and corporate partners.
- Strong problem-solving, conflict resolution, and change management capabilities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- Willingness to travel regularly between assigned properties
